I am pretty sure Martha Stewart can’t hold a candle to some of my wise beyond my years cleaning advice. The best part about my secret little tips is that everything you need to clean can be bought at the Dollar Store. There is no need to go out and spend all that hard earned money on cleaning supplies, when you could use that money to go out to Granny’s Cafe on Friday night.
Clean the pipes of your dishwasher out using Kool Aid- just put the package in the detergent section, and run one cycle.
Ink stains on leather- baby wipes will remove the spot with no stains left behind.
Wine Stains in you carpet (God forbid) - pour Morton Salt on it, and the wine will absorb into the salt.
Baked on food- fill the container with water, and put a sheet of Bounce in the water and let sit. The baked goods will stick to the dryer sheet.
Crayon on walls- give your kids a toothbrush with Colgate on it, and make them scrub it off, because they need to be taught young, before they are cleaning graffiti off the side of the bridge.
Bathtub grout- pour Listerine on it and let sit, then rinse off. If it will kill grout stains, it is bound to take that Copenhagen off those teeth, too.
